Hi, I’m Sandra…

I’m the founder of the Life Balance Project. I help people to stay positive, happy, physically healthy and mentally strong in these unprecedented times using the ancient practices of yoga, breathing and meditation.

I’m passionate about making yoga and meditation accessible for everyone, supporting and inspiring my clients to create a happy, balanced and more purposeful life. 2020 has been a challenging year and now more than ever yoga and meditation is offering us tools and techniques to anchor and ground us. In my classes, I focus on wellbeing and healing. 

After working more than 20 years in various senior corporate roles around the world, I started teaching yoga part-time in 2014. Finding the right balance between work and my own yoga and meditation practice has been my very own life balance project all those years and helped me to deal with long working days, stress, illness, relocating from Germany to Australia and life’s ups and downs in general. 

I completed more than 600 hrs. of teacher trainings in Australia and Bali and have completed a study course in Applied Health Neuroscience in 2018 which inspired me to integrate the latest research findings in my work.

My teachings include:

Face-to-face and online courses: Hatha and Flow, Restorative Yoga, Mindfulness & Meditation, Breath work as well as tailored Private and Corporate Yoga classes. Our signature event is Yoga Meets Piano, a unique experience of combining yoga with live piano music – performed and composed by Daryl Wallis.
